The Extended Postnatal Care Coordinator performs as a strategic leader, providing day to day assistance and support for the EPC Midwife Manager to ensure a high standard of service provision. We have an opportunity for a Registered Midwife to rotate through EPC to gain experience and grow your career in Maternity. About Us: Monash Women’s provides an extended postnatal care service – which provides women with midwifery follow-up at home, to ensure all is well with mother and baby post discharge from hospital. The service helps smooth the transition to home life and provides a check pf both physical and mental health and provides support for feeding, sleeping, breastfeeding and linking a families to additional care if it is required. Our Maternity team in EPC recognises the needs and acknowledges the dignity, culture and values of the individual woman and her family. We aim to empower all childbearing women and their families within a service that embraces both continuity of philosophy and consistency of advice and information. About You: You are an experienced Registered Midwife and you will be inspired every day working with likeminded, passionate colleagues who share the same values and the same purpose as you. To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge: Demonstrate experience in Maternity and EPC and ideally, worked in the position of co-ordinator in the past.
