IT Ambulatory Clinical Apps highlights: · Flexible Schedule - work/life balance · Innovative, collaborative and fast-paced environment · Join an inclusive and supportive team · Diverse team with an ever-changing array and scope of projects Here’s What You Need Education · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field or 4 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree (Required) Experience · 7 years relevant work experience designing, developing, or supporting relevant applications (Required) · At least 5 years experience with the Epic EMR platform specifically focused on Ambulatory toolsets, workflows, and practices (Highly Preferred) Licenses and Certifications · Epic Certification – Ambulatory (Required) What You Will Do · Develop design solutions that cleanly integrate with existing products and provide an easy path for future enhancements · Communicate with customer, project team, and vendors in in the analysis and design of business and requirements for new and optimized application and system workflows, as well as ensuring secure and stable architectures are in place · Consultant/SME in diagnosis, resolution, and communication of failures encountered in application software and related technologies · Consultant in the development of department strategies and tactics, planning, reviewing and monitoring activities that provide value to key customers. · In conjunction with fellow application and enterprise architects, will develop, review, and evaluate IT solutions for appropriateness, needed inputs, technical requirements, while considering impacts to/on already existing workflows, processes, system setup, and clinical workflows. Will work with members of multiple ITS teams, vendors, and external SMEs to assemble application and project architecture documentation. · When applicable, will be asked to take a lead/coordinator focused role on larger projects with a cross functional or large impact. · Maintain an awareness of vendor and industry developments/plans in area(s) of responsibility, communication, and documentation of all relevant items and activities.
