HYBRID POSITION (NOT FULLY REMOTE) LOCATED IN WENATCHEE, WA. OUTPATIENT CLINICAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

Under moderate direction, the Epic Application Analyst I is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, implementing and support of assigned applications. Builds collaborative relationships with health system leadership, clinical department users, IT and other departments to facilitate usage and acceptance of the system. The Analyst I will work as a key member of the support team to build, maintain, test, and train as needed to assure successful implementation and ongoing support. The Analyst I will be the key subject matter expert and act as the liaison between stake holders and the support team for assigned applications.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate in system design process, define system setup requirements, and document system setup.
  • Assist in documenting current organizational work flows and work with appropriate staff as needed to determine modifications.
  • Participate in system upgrades as needed to ensure assigned applications are upgraded successfully.
  • Work with IT staff as needed to resolve issues, address user concerns, track and perform system change requests.
  • Perform system imports, develop reports, complete configuration changes, and handle tickets in a timely manner.
  • Identify, recommend, create and perform user security and maintenances standards and activities.
  • Adhere to all implementation requirements as per project plans and specifications, and adhere to all IT change control processes.
  • Develop and utilize testing and communication plans; recommend improvements to guidances to ensure proper testing is accomplished.
  • Work closely with trainers on all changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
  • Ensure system changes are communicated to all stakeholders and attend regular operational team meetings to improve system utilization.
  • Train individuals or groups as needed and provide system support for all identified issues and requests.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve and document system issues; document FAQ’s, common solutions, and key tasks/milestones of assigned module.
  • Meet or exceed customer service standards.
  • Set and manage time lines related to assigned tasks, prioritize and communicate potential barriers and recommend alternate strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Education: Associates degree or 2 years work experience in IT; or MA/CPhT plus 2 years work experience; or LPN/RN licensure required.
  • Maintain all state licensing requirements relevant to position hired.
  • Ability to attend classes/seminars and complete certification(s) as assigned, may require travel up to 2 weeks at a time.
  • Specific applications experience may be required, depending upon position.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of health care organizations and work flow.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Two years as an application support analyst, application analyst or healthcare related field preferred.
  • Superior time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Possess good customer service skills.

Physical/Sensory Demands:
O = Occasional, represents 1 to 25% or up to 30 minutes in a 2 hour workday.
F = Frequent, represents 26 to 50% or up to 1 hour of a 2 hour workday.
C = Continuous, represents 51% to 100% or up to 2 hours of a 2 hour workday.
