EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Successful completion of either a university degree or college diploma in a computer science or a health-related discipline

One or more Epic Certification in the following applications:

  • Grand Central
  • Prelude/Cadence
  • Ambulatory
  • Mychart
  • EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation
  • EpicCare Inpatients Orders

Minimum two years of hospital clinical and/or hospital information systems experience .

  • Strong background in EHR support, implementation, and optimization .
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, test, and configure clinical systems and troubleshoot complex issues .
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Commitment to patient and staff safety in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative setting .
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Enterprise applications (i.e., Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote) is required.
  • ITIL Certification (for service management and process improvement) is an asset.
  • ServiceNow Experience (for IT service and incident management) is an asset.
  • Clinical Applications Analyst Requirements (PG 10 Pay Band)
  • Minimum two years of hospital experience with direct patient care responsibilities .
  • Current registration in good standing with a Regulated Health Professions College .
