JOB TITLE: EPIC TECHNICAL DRESS REHEARSAL PROJECT MANAGER

Start Date: As soon as possible – two weeks from acceptance of offer
Duration: 8 months with possible extension
Daily Working Hours: 1.5 hours ahead of EST time zone
Travel: 25-30% between now-October, ramping up to 50% travel between November-April with a slow-down period during the holidays. East coast candidates preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of the Technical Design Review (TDR) in collaboration with Epic and internal IT teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and track a detailed technical work plan aligned with the broader Epic implementation timeline.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the Epic technical team and the organization’s IT/infrastructure departments.
  • Coordinate across teams.
  • Oversee the provisioning and readiness of environments: production, training, testing, and build.
  • Ensure backup, disaster recovery, failover, and system monitoring systems are
  • Track TDR tasks and milestones using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).

Required Qualifications:

  • Epic TDR Certification or participation in previous Epic TDR engagements.
  • Experience with large-scale Epic implementations
  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in IT infrastructure or healthcare IT.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and external consultants.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
