Role: IT Support Specialist - Epicor (Kinetic) ERP Technical Support Analyst
Location: Mississauga - On-site
Salary: $65,000 - 75,000 per year (negotiable)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Support Specialist will report to the IT Manager and deliver end-to-end technical support across the organization. This includes setup and maintenance of hardware, software, and communications systems, as well as hands-on support for Epicor ERP, EDI systems, printers, and inventory tools.
The role plays a key part in employee onboarding, documentation, and driving technology upgrades including AI implementation initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support and enterprise system administration
  • Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP or Kinetic
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Experience with EDI systems, specifically Gentran/IBM Sterling
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking infrastructure, server hardware, and storage systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science or a related field
Responsibilities
  • Set up workstations, equipment, and user accounts for new hires; provide support on their first day.
  • Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, wireless devices, and mobile phones.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support Epicor ERP (or Kinetic) including resolving user issues, implementing new modules, and assisting with upgrades.
  • Provide hands-on support for EDI customers using Gentran (IBM Sterling).
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
  • Assist with hardware and software inventory management and tracking.
  • Research, test, and deploy AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement backup and recovery procedures.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft server platforms, Active Directory, Exchange, and Cisco networking equipment.
  • Configure and maintain the company phone system and other IT devices.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for hardware/software support and quotes.
  • Contribute to various IT projects as assigned by the IT Manager.
