Our team is composed of over 160 highly qualified multi-disciplinary professionals from a variety of disciplines including health economics, statistics, AI/ML, epidemiology and data management, located across 8 geographies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MSc in epidemiology or a health-related discipline with a focus on epidemiology, preferably with some research experience post-MSc (including PhD)
  • Experience in designing and executing observational healthcare studies
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to support multiple projects concurrently
  • Commitment to working collaboratively and effectively with diverse teams
  • Strong verbal communication and scientific writing skills, with attention to detail and scientific rigour
  • Strong numeracy and quantitative skills, and preferably some experience using statistical packages (e.g. Stata, R, SAS)
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written) – please submit your CV in English
  • Permanent right to work in one of the EU countries (please note that we’re not able to sponsor visa and that the role is in hybrid model and requires visiting our office in Amsterdam)
Responsibilities

As an Epidemiologist, you will have the opportunity to advance your career in pharmacoepidemiology within a stimulating and supportive environment. You will work with experts across various fields and have access to unparalleled real-world healthcare data. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design, execution, and reporting of diverse real-world database (RWD) studies, including protocol writing, insights generation, study report development, and direct client communication
  • Developing proposals for RWD studies in response to client requests
  • Creating abstracts, manuscripts, and conference presentations for client projects
  • Training and mentoring interns or junior team members to support their career development
  • Collaborating with internal IQVIA teams, including strategy and technical consultants, health economists, and local teams across the EMEA region
  • Contributing to internal initiatives to adopt innovative methodologies and maintain project delivery excellence
  • Supporting thought leadership by preparing conference abstracts and posters and developing white papers and peer-reviewed publications

The role is UK or EU-based with flexibility regarding location and frequency of office and home working.
