WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience working within an ePMO function in a matrix organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at senior levels.
  • Deep understanding of governance frameworks and project/programme delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, hybrid).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new frameworks and ways of working across complex organisations.
  • Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Management of Portfolios (MoP), PRINCE2 / APMP, P3O (Portfolio, Programme, and Project Offices) would also be desirable.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Set and maintain programme and project governance frameworks aligned to professional and global standards, ensuring consistency and delivery control across the enterprise.
  • Act as subject matter expert for ePMO governance, advising stakeholders and project teams on best practices and providing clear guidance on compliance.
  • Support capability development by contributing to training curricula and upskilling initiatives for project and programme managers across CUK.
  • Lead and deliver governance reviews, including health checks and post-implementation reviews, identifying lessons learned and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and portfolio leads to ensure alignment to standards and contribute to the evolution of governance frameworks and delivery practices
Responsibilities

The ePMO Governance Manager at Carnival UK is responsible for setting, maintaining, and evolving the programme and project management standards and governance frameworks that underpin delivery excellence across the organisation’s change portfolio. This role ensures that all change initiatives are governed in line with best practice, providing assurance, oversight, and support to project teams and senior stakeholders. The Governance Manager plays a critical role in fostering a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across the enterprise portfolio.
