The main duties of an EPOC Deputy Team Leader include: Day-to-day management of the EPOC unit Liaising with Recovery, Critical Care and wards to facilitate safe admission and discharge of patients Support band 5 and 2 staff with care and management of patients Deputising for the band 7, including management of staff and service To facilitate efficient and effective care and communication between the team to ensure continuity for all patients within EPOC To actively contribute to developing the professional practice of the Clinical Support Division We would highly recommend an informal visit to the EPOC Department to see this new patient pathway in operation and to discuss the exciting plans for the development of this service
