Description

Skillforce is seeking an experienced Epoxy Floor Installer for a commercial flooring operation based in the Chesapeake, VA area. This is a full-time, field-based opportunity supporting an active flooring crew performing epoxy coating systems and polished concrete on commercial and industrial job sites throughout Virginia. Pay & Schedule: * $24 to $28 per hour, depending on experience * Schedule varies by project; day, night, and weekend shifts as required to meet deadlines * Statewide travel required -- projects span Virginia from Northern VA to the coast * Immediate openings available Responsibilities: * Prepare concrete surfaces through grinding, shot blasting, and profiling for epoxy coating application * Apply epoxy floor coating systems, including primers, base coats, and topcoats * Perform concrete polishing using diamond tooling and surface grinders * Install resinous flooring systems on commercial and industrial surfaces * Inspect and maintain equipment used in floor preparation and coating application * Follow project specifications, safety protocols, and site requirements on each job * Work alongside crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards Qualifications: Required: * Experience in epoxy floor installation and/or concrete polishing (commercial or industrial settings) * Authorized to work in the United States * Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen * Reliable transportation to job sites * Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly as part of daily duties * Flexibility to travel statewide and work days, nights, and weekends as projects require Preferred: * Experience with multiple resinous flooring systems (urethane, MMA, polyaspartic) * OSHA 10 certification * Bilingual candidates are a plus Benefits: * Weekly pay * Paid time off * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * 401(k) If you are an Epoxy Floor Installer ready to put your skills to work on active commercial projects across Virginia, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities
