We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled and motivated individuals to join our team of Configuration Specialists on a 12 month secondment or fixed term basis. Previous experience in healthcare information technology is not essential, although a reasonable level of IT literacy is required. We will provide all the training and development you will need to become an expert in building solutions in our Electronic Patient Record for our clinical teams. So, if you are passionate about improving patient care through digital transformation, we want to hear from you.
As part of our award-winning digital team, this is an opportunity to be a part of delivering the future of the electronic patient record though a highly varied, challenging and rewarding role which includes everything from the business analysis to the presentation of the prototype solutions, to the configuration build and supporting the wards and clinical staff as your work goes live for use. You will be providing advice and guidance on the effective use of the Sunrise EPR clinical system across our hospitals. You will have the opportunity to work on new initiatives, system improvements and maintenance of the live system; as well as working with clinicians to optimise the tools we already have.
This is a great opportunity to join an innovative team at an exciting time in our digital journey.
As an EPR Business Analyst and Configuration Specialist, you will be joining a fun and dynamic team of experts in the end to end delivery of electronic solutions which are designed to improve the safety and care of patients.
You will have the opportunity to meet clinical staff to map and understand how their processes work and create and demonstrate a new and bespoke electronic patient record. You will then be responsible for the testing and delivery of this, as well as maintaining valued relationships to ensure they have the support and after care needed. This will also include continually developing the solutions and handling business as usual queries. In order to succeed in the role the ideal candidate will have:

As well as generous annual leave allowance, access to the excellent NHS pension scheme, competitive bank rates, discounts at local shops and restaurants, access to two on-site nurseries, discounted public transport, reward and recognition and a range of health and wellbeing initiatives to support you.
Our award-winning digital team sits at the heart of the organisation, providing technical, infrastructure and system support to colleagues in all three of our hospitals. As part of the EPR team, you will play an important role in ensuring that we develop and maintain our electronic patient record, in a way that supports clinicians to deliver the best patient care.
