QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in recycling, environmental services, or waste management.
• Familiarity with regulated frameworks, especially EPR.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise in recycling operations and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage metrics and drive process improvements.
• Strong collaboration and multitasking abilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The EPR Recycling Analyst supports Alberta’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) contracts, ensuring compliance with reporting, invoicing, and payments. This detail-oriented role involves collaboration with contract managers, recycling operations, and cross-functional teams to meet environmental and operational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure EPR compliance through accurate reporting and documentation.
• Administer contract activities, billing, and payments.
• Act as a liaison with the Producer Responsible Organization (PRO).
• Collaborate with plant managers to drive operational excellence.
• Lead sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• This role may involve moderate travel.
