This post will be focused on assisting George Eliot Hospital in their journey to join this single Oracle Millennium instance. As an EPR Senior Information Business Partner you will help develop and implement the strategy for successful migration of data from legacy systems into the new EPR. The post holder will identify and translate data migration requirements into conversion processes whilst managing any risks and issues that arise. The role will involve detailed analysis and understanding of complex technical and business requirements across multiple services within and external to the Trust to migrate all data essential to service delivery into the new EPR, ensuring data quality throughout.

Work with the EPR Data Migration and Reporting Lead to develop and implement data migration and reporting strategies.
Develop and provide leadership to the data migration team, drive the delivery of the data migration Programme, motivating the team and support continual improvement.
Lead in supporting Directorates in understanding their data quality in regards of the legacy system and the new system.
Liaise with service managers and clinical leads within the trusts to address any data quality issues prior to migration. Ensuring that the importance of the task and possible outcomes of not undertaking this are fully explained.
Work closely with EPR migration partners, coordinating activities and ensuring adequate data is flowing to allow successful migration.
Lead in carrying out analysis that addresses the Trust’s need to provide greater insight into data quality, supporting managers and clinicians to deliver targets against challenging deadlines.
Support the EPR Data Migration and Reporting Lead in providing assurance and progress to the Boards and other relevant Committees or Sub-Committees on data migration.
Ensure team and processes are in place to allow maximisation of testing during the three trial loads and full-dress rehearsal.
Maintain and understand flows in the service areas, helping to identify areas of concern and supporting the directorates to understand why changes have occurred so that early corrective action can be taken.
Work closely with directorate managers and clinicians to ensure they have the information they need to understand their services through EPR implantation and go-live.
Liaise with project leads, external consultancy and other Information Department staff to identify the data and information required.
Carries out complex data quality checking and remediation.
Enables efficiencies by ensuring that information about data sources is documented and made available for the benefit of others.
Clearly articulates dependencies on other teams / systems / infrastructure and builds these in to plans.
