This is an exciting and unique two-phase position supporting the implementation and ongoing delivery of Epic EPR training across the One Devon collaboration.

Responsibilities

PHASE 1 SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Support Epic implementation across all three One Devon partner organisations
  • Support a One Devon approach to training delivery whilst maintaining Torbay base
  • Participate in go-live activities and immediate post-implementation support

ONGOING DUTIES (BOTH PHASES):

  • Deliver training and eLearning support on a one-to-one basis or in larger group environments, using blended learning approaches wherever possible
  • Attend appropriate training sessions with Principal Trainers to understand and learn Epic system functionality and optimal training delivery methods
  • Undertake the Epic process to assess readiness for training delivery
  • Work as part of the training team and wider EPR team, actively participating in team meetings

After Month 5/6, you will become a permanent member of the Digital Learning and Education Team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, contributing to the long-term sustainability of Epic training delivery. You will be required to provide training at various venues role across the TSDFT locations and partner organisation sites as required
    As a trainer, you will deliver training and eLearning support on both one-to-one and group basis (including classroom activity), using blended learning approaches. You will support the development of training packages and materials required for end user training, ensuring clinical transformation is effectively supported through comprehensive Epic training delivery.
