Description Memorial Community Health, Inc. is currently seeking dependable and friendly individuals to join our team as Wait Staff at East Park Villa. This position will be part time, approximately 9-12 hours per week and every other weekend. Wait Staff are responsible for a wide variety of meal service responsibilities, including assisting in the preparation of meals, serving meals and washing dishes. Job Duties: Prepares and serves beverages and meals to residents, visitors and staff according to approved menus, in a consistent and efficient delivery of service. Assists with ensuring a smooth work flow from food preparation to delivery of meals. Maintains responsibility for proper food handling and sanitation. Meets resident safety needs as appropriate. Assists in stocking and maintaining supplies for the kitchen and dining room. Demonstrates appropriate use, sanitation and care of equipment to provide a safe and sanitary work environment using required guidelines. Participates in MCHI and EPV committees, quality assurance, performance and quality improvement initiatives, and activities which support the facility and department operations. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Must be a minimum of 14 years old Previous food service/customer service experience preferred Previous experience working with the elderly preferred Knowledge of foods and preparation methods Knowledge of customer service, serving and cleaning Ability to understand regular diets and use a menu as reference
Responsibilities
