SUMMARY

We are seeking a Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager to join our team at NHS Professionals. The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Manager will take a lead on ensuring that our previous ’Advancing Equity’ plan is reviewed and performance reports written for a variety of committees. The Manager will also co-ordinate the development of our GMMH Diversity Plan, to take us through the next 3 years of advancing equity in the organisation. While much of the engagement work has already been conducted for these activities, and outputs created, they will still require a lot of stakeholder engagement and co-ordination to bring together into a succinct format and tailor to a variety of audiences.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in managing diversity and inclusion programs or initiatives.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage various stakeholders.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Workday is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the review of the Advancing Equity Plan
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver best practice guidance and training in equality advancement for service delivery.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence, Human Resources, Quality Improvement, and Service User and Carer Engagement teams to support projects aligned with the Advancing Equalities Strategy.
  • Support service user and carer groups in collaboration with Human Resources and Service User and Carer Engagement teams.
  • Provide specialist guidance to senior leadership and business managers, supporting local projects that align with the Advancing Equalities Strategy.
  • Work with the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Research Unit to share best practices and create equitable environments.
  • Maintain networks with internal and external data and intelligence leads to share best practices and highlight learning opportunities.
