  • £46,670 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Responsibilities

As the EDI Project Manager in the Public Health and Communities, Inclusion Team, you will play a key role in delivering projects and programmes with a primary focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including the Public Sector Equality Duty.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving forward the councils EDI plan.
  • Identifying inequality in service delivery using data and evidence, and support commissioners and Directorates to address these issues.
  • Working collaboratively across Suffolk County Council to maximise opportunities for shared resources and outcomes
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of inclusivity.
  • Leading the development of a resource hub to support colleagues on EDI matters.
  • Promoting and championing the the councils’ achievements in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion.

We support hybrid working to provide a balanced mix of working from home and the office. You will be expected to spend at least two days per week in the office.
