• Yard duties
• Turning out
• Tacking up
• Assisting at competitions
• Feeding
• Assisting with young stock
• Handling and care of competition horses
• Helping with Livery clients/ horses

DESIRED SKILLS

• Previous experience and confidence handling a variety of horses is essential and must be shown on application.
• Good customer service skills are needed

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• English and maths GCSE’s, or equivalents, are desired.
• If applicants already hold a level 1 in horse care is desired.
• Applicants must notalready hold a level 2 or higher in Horse Care to be eligible for a level 2. If they do, they may be considered for a level 3 position.
