The Department of Animal and Food Sciences and Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, is seeking applicants for a full-time, 9-month Equestrian Team Coach and Equine Lecturer in a non-tenure track position (100% teaching appointment) to begin September 1, 2025. Teaching responsibilities include instruction in ANSC 3312 Horsemanship I, ANSC 3313 Horsemanship II, coaching the IHSA Western and Hunt Seat Equestrian Teams, with the opportunity to teach other courses of interest which align with department needs. Serving as the Equestrian Team faculty advisor is also expected. The successful candidate is expected to recruit and mentor student members of the Equestrian Team and coordinate all aspects of travel, competitor eligibility, entries, scholarship awards, and finances.
