SUMMARY

We are seeking an energetic professional for long-term, full-time employment. The ideal candidate would be Veterinary Technologist with equine general anesthesia experience or interest.
Hours include regular clinic hours as well as emergency on-call rotation, but flexible work schedule could be accommodated. Competitive wage offered, clothing and continuing education allowance as well as employee discounted professional services and supplies.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong horse handling experience
• Be self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Have an interest in sports medicine, lameness, and surgery

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of equine care and handling.
• Licensed Veterinary Technologist
• Excellent communication skills with both team members and clients.
• Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures and surgeries.
• Provide treatments to patients in clinic
• Provide care and handling for horses in the clinic.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
• Assist with laboratory tests and record-keeping.
• Support emergency services as needed.
