PROJECT MANAGER – PLANT EXPANSION EQUIPMENT ACCEPTANCE

Clearance Requirement: DOD Compliant Required – Candidates must meet DOD compliance standards and be U.S. citizens or nationals.

  • Immediate start through June 2026
  • Potential for extension based on project needs

Position SummarySeeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the final stages of equipment acceptance for Phases 3 and 4 of a large-scale facility expansion project. This role involves close coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure timely qualification, documentation, and turnover of new equipment and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the equipment acceptance process for all remaining installations in designated areas, including stockroom and Optical Cleaning Center (OCC) workstreams
  • Manage punch lists, qualification protocols, and final acceptance criteria in partnership with engineering, operations, and quality teams
  • Maintain and update project schedules in alignment with the broader expansion timeline and capital milestones
  • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders, including Facilities, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance
  • Support documentation and reporting related to capital capitalization and project closeout activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal quality standards throughout the acceptance process

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (preferred); Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered
  • 5–7+ years of project management experience
  • Background in manufacturing or technical/optics fields preferred; experience in construction or similar project environments acceptable
  • Familiarity with equipment qualification, capital project closeout, and cross-functional coordination
  • Experience with cleanroom environments and/or precision optics manufacturing is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, including prioritization and efficiency improvement skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint

    Pay: $55.00 - $69.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week
