Description
1. The Equipment and Maintenance Supervisor will provide expertise in the operation, repair, maintenance, and improvement of various production and machine shop equipment. Additionally, they will serve as the SME for tooling and fixture design and fabrication. Beyond technical responsibilities, this role includes managing all technicians to ensure timely and effective support for manufacturing operations. He will also oversee the availability and functionality of equipment, tooling, and fixtures required by manufacturing. 2. Responsible for implementing automation projects aimed at improving productivity and achieving cost savings. 3. Develop and implements plan to enhance Technician skills and competencies. 1. Identify and Implement Safety improvements in Machine Guarding and Work Place organization including manufacturing Floor Lay-out 2. Performs Fixes on Production Equipment and Fixtures to support Manufacturing Operations 3. Develop and Implement Permanent Fix and Improvement on Manufacturing Equipment and Fixtures 4. Develop and Implement a Preventive Maintenance procedures to ensure regular availability to support Manufacturing. 5. Develop, Plan and Execute Automation Projects to improve safety, Productivity, and other valuable Cost Out opportunities 6. Budgets MRO spending and identify opportunities to reduce the cost and usage 7. Develops Local Suppliers to fabricate required fixtures, fix existing equipment with competent capability and cost 8. Manage, Plan and Develop Technician and Engineer Technical Skill and Competency Build-up 9. Works with Cross Functional team to define and implement improvement actions to address Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost opportunities. Cross Functional Team includes other Site personnel (SV CHN) 10. Performs other duties as required and within competency level. BS Electrical, Mechanical and any related Engineering Course. Above 15 years in experience in Engineering capacity working in a fast -paced manufacturing environment. Very Strong Technical competency and skill in Mechanical, Electrical and Civil works Has excellent Problem Solving capability Ability to work with cross functional including other country team members Computer application competent including MS Office and CAD Has prior knowledge and experience in Soldering process. Critical to this position is the Technical Ability to resolve equipment and fixture issues which nobody else in the organization can perform. His competency and skill possess this very important capability Takes Initiatives and Calculated risk, able to have contingency plans to resolve the issues and until resolved. Has Ability for multi-tasking and ability to delegate issues accordingly Takes time to train his peers and subordinates to adopt some of his technical skills and competency Has established excellent working relationship inside and outside the PH organization. Has also established a recognition from Senior Leaders of his technical capability Highly respected by all suppliers - local and foreign and said suppliers receives his inputs and implements to improve their product
