Description Southern Foodservice Management, a national contact food service company, is now looking to hire a qualified Equipment and Supply Specialist for our West Point location in West Point, NY. The schedule is 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday. Job Summary Performs administrative and clerical tasks in connection with the requisition, receipt, storage, issue of equipment Coordinates preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacement of food service equipment in conjunction with DPW, maintenance contractors, or supply personnel Conduct regular inspections to verify operational status, cleanliness, and safety compliance of kitchen equipment. Develop and maintain detailed equipment inventories and life-cycle tracking records in accordance with Army standards. Support procurement efforts for new equipment, ensuring items meet mission requirements and standardization goals. Performs weekly and monthly inventories and ensures accountability is kept Maintains Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) equipment records and is the Property Custodian Maintain Government Furnished Property (GFP) Plan Receive and inventory new equipment Maintain GFP Inventory Records and assist Government with Hand Receipt Conduct annual physical inventory of GFP with Government personnel Turn-in (TI) Documentation of old GFP equipment Southern Foodservice Management’s Culture We have a philosophy for each and every one on our service team to give something extra.
