This role is to support the Global Facilities Equipment and Materials (GFEM) team as an Equipment Commodity Manager The Opportunity In this role you will: Developing and managing internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies. Partnering with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long-term analysis of the category/commodity and the supply ecosystem. Acquiring and maintaining industry, market, and technical knowledge of commodities. Leading supplier sourcing, selection, and performance management. Negotiating purchasing contracts, statements of works, and pricing for goods and/or services. Driving cost-saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives. May develop new supply chain models for new or existing products or services. Serve as the second level of escalation for construction project related issues and the primary point of escalation for facility operations issues. We would love to hear from you if you: Have grown your procurement experience over the last 10 years with increasing levels of leadership Have experience in a construction environment within the pharmaceutical/medical device sectors or from an EPC background in the oil and gas sector Have a degree in a procurement or supply chain management related discipline Have a CIPS certification or are on the path to complete it.
