About the Role: Do you have excellent customer service skills? Would you like to be a vital part of a team that helps keep the hospital running? The Central Equipment and Courier Service Team are looking for two Equipment & Courier Officers to join their team. In this role you will work closely with a dedicated and skilled team to deliver a safe, efficient, and effective service for inpatients and associated clients at The Canberra Hospital. Some responsibilities include responding to and attending to all requests, prioritising the processing of work in order of urgency, distributing and delivering blood and blood products, blood cultures, specimen containers and pathology reports, and patient equipment, performing cleaning, minor maintenance and preparation of medical equipment. We are seeking someone with strong organisation and customer service skills, can maintain high work standards accurately, can be a role model of the departmental teams’ charter, works well in a team with the understanding of the importance of teamwork, and is adaptable and flexible.
