As a G Class Equipment Delivery Driver, you’ll be the direct link between our branch team and our customers on-site. Your professionalism, reliability, and commitment to safe driving helps maintain and strengthen our long-term customer relationships. What You’ll Be Doing * Deliver equipment safely and efficiently to customer job sites. * Load, unload, tie down, and secure all equipment and products in accordance with safety standards and best practices. * Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally on job sites. * Maintain ongoing communication with dispatch regarding schedules, delivery updates, and route changes. * Update driver log books and required documentation accurately and consistently. * Inspect loads and equipment during deliveries and report any damages or issues to the manager promptly. * Prepare for next-day deliveries by fueling trucks, washing vehicles when required, and pre-loading equipment. * Work collaboratively with the branch team to support daily operations and customer needs * Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe. What We're Looking For * Delivery Driving Experience: Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites. * Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued. * G Class Driver’s License: Full G Class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. * Safety Focused: Familiarity with safe driving practices and construction site. requirements. * Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment. * A Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with a keen sense of time-management and effective organizational skills. * Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products. * Endurance: Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly up to 50lbs. * Experience tying down and securing various types of loads safely and effectively. * Previous roll-off truck experience is an asset. * Prior experience with both TRAC operation and Systematics would be considered an asset. * A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset.
