Wright Implement is searching for qualified individuals for the purpose of selling new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers. Job Responsibilities * Safely operate delivery vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to transport equipment to and from specified locations. * Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventive maintenance as needed. * Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, taking into account traffic patterns and weather conditions. * Load and unload equipment, ensuring that it is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation. * Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers to ensure accuracy. * Maintain logs of vehicle maintenance, delivery documentation, and customer interactions in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations. * Provide excellent customer service during delivery, which may include equipment setup and demonstration of proper use. * Handle paperwork, such as receipts or delivery confirmation notices, and collect payments when necessary. * Communicate with dispatch or management regarding any delivery delays, issues with equipment, or customer concerns. * Comply with all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. * Report any accidents or vehicle damage immediately to management. * Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires or addressing minor mechanical issues, if safe and possible. * Ensure that the equipment is clean and presentable before and after each delivery. * Assist in the inventory management of the equipment, including checking in returned items and documenting their condition. * Participate in ongoing training   Job Requirements   * Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) * Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience * Clean driving record with no moving violations within the last two years * Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening * High school diploma or equivalent * Familiarity with DOT regulations and transportation laws * Proficiency in operating GPS devices and electronic logbooks * Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavy equipment * Experience in securing and transporting heavy equipment safely * Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs and maintenance of vehicles * Excellent time management skills to maintain delivery schedules * Strong customer service orientation for interactions with clients * Ability to read and interpret delivery instructions and safety manuals * Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and overtime as needed * Knowledge of safe driving practices and defensive driving techniques * Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws   Wright Implement is an equal-opportunity employer.
