Description
Provide hands-on technical and people leadership for Electrical Equipment Engineering activities. Lead, coach, and develop Equipment Electrical Engineers, setting clear performance and development expectations. Plan and allocate resources to support equipment engineering priorities and escalations. Identify technical skill gaps and implement targeted training and development plans. Provide technical direction and review for electrical system design, test architecture, and equipment modifications. Guide troubleshooting complex electrical and control system issues impacting equipment performance or safety. Ensure robust test strategies, data integrity, and documentation for equipment testing and validation activities. Support new and existing manufacturing equipment through design input, installation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and validation. Monitoring equipment downtime, PM effectiveness, and reliability metrics, lead to corrective and preventive actions. Perform equipment risk assessments related to safety, compliance, and unplanned downtime. Interface with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Regulatory, Process Development and Equipment Development to resolve issues and drive improvements. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to address technical issues and improvement opportunities. Drive improvements in safety, quality, service, and efficiency within the electrical equipment engineering scope. Support equipment qualification and validation activities in compliance with FDA/QSR and internal standards. Ensure appropriate resources, tools, and processes are in place to maintain compliance. Promote a work environment aligned with Quality, EHS, and Energy policies. Bachelor or Licenciature degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical Industrial Maintenance or related. Experience: At least 4 years Technical Competencies: Problem Solving, Networking, Process Improvement, Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge, Process Validations. Master's degree (preferably) At least 2 years of managerial experience.
