Description

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our team in Taiwan. This role will provide technical leadership for automated test equipment (ATE) operations at our OSAT partners, driving excellence in test cell qualification and problem resolution. Key job responsibilities * Lead and execute new test cell qualification and bring-up activities at OSAT partners * Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex issues at OSAT facilities * Drive resolution of sophisticated setup challenges involving thermal, electrical, and mechanical systems * Conduct comprehensive technical audits at OSAT partners to ensure compliance with quality standards * Develop and deliver technical training programs for new team members and OSAT partners * Review and approve test cell configurations for production release * Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize test cell performance and reliability * Lead continuous improvement initiatives for test cell efficiency and yield About the team Diverse Experiences AWS values diverse experiences. Basic Qualifications: - * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering - * 5+ years of hands-on experience with ATE testers and ATC handlers - * Demonstrated expertise in complex problem solving across thermal, electrical, and mechanical domains - * Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills - Leadership Competencies: - * Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority - * Strong track record of delivering results in complex technical environments - * Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management - * Proven ability to develop and mentor team members Preferred Qualifications: - * Knowledge in electrical engineering at practical engineer level is a significant advantage - * Experience with semiconductor test and handling equipment - * Track record of leading technical teams or mentoring junior engineers - * Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills - * Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency highly desired - * Experience working with OSAT partners in Asia Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
