    At Cerba Research, we enable breakthrough science by supporting clients with complex laboratory and R&D projects. Our Schaijk site operates at the forefront of research, combining high-containment laboratories (BSL3/GMO) and more than 250 pieces of advanced lab equipment.
    To keep this environment running smoothly, we are seeking a hands-on Equipment Engineer who will ensure our scientific teams have the tools they need to deliver high-quality, reliable results.
    Cerba Research is looking for an Equipment Engineer to join our Facilities team in Schaijk. You’ll help maintain, validate, and optimize a wide range of laboratory equipment that supports innovative R&D and client projects, including work in high-containment (BSL3/GMO) labs.
    Perhaps you have experience in qualification or validation and now want to develop further in an equipment-focused role. Or you may be a lab analyst or technician looking to move into equipment maintenance. We are also open to candidates from other industries, particularly those who have worked in cleanroom or controlled environments and are eager to transition into Life Sciences.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Lead validations, URS, CAPAs, and change controls for new installations.
  • Troubleshoot issues, monitor alarms, and manage replacements.
  • Work closely with external vendors, auditors, and contractors.
  • Use QMS (Vivaldi & Veeva)
  • Ensure compliance with GCLP, ISO 17025, GMP/GLP standards.
