The Equipment Finance Analyst manages the end-to-end process of fleet acquisition, including coordination of truck deliveries, lender relationships, and documentation management. This role serves as the primary liaison between carriers, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of equipment financing and delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment financing, asset management, or a related field is required.
  • A deep understanding of equipment financing documentation and processes is essential.
  • Experience with financial documentation and compliance regulations is a must.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills are crucial.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous transactions is a must as well.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
  • Prior experience in the transportation or logistics sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial truck specifications and valuations is an advantage.
  • Experience working with various lending institutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of asset management software systems is also advantageous.
  • An understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate new truck deliveries with manufacturers and dealers, maintaining detailed tracking of order status and delivery timelines
  • Manage relationships with multiple lenders and financial institutions to secure equipment financing
  • Process and review all documentation required for equipment funding, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Track and validate funding requirements across different lending institutions
  • Create and maintain organized filing systems for all equipment financing documentation
  • Monitor compliance with lender requirements and funding conditions
  • Coordinate equipment inspections and appraisals as needed
  • Assist carriers with documentation preparation and submission
  • Maintain detailed records of all transactions and key deadlines
  • Provide regular status updates to management on equipment acquisition progress
