Prosperity Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer. ---------------------------------------- POSITION PURPOSE The Loan Operations Manager is primarily responsible for the entire documentation and closing life cycle of Equipment Finance transactions, including interpreting legal and entity documents required to satisfactorily produce legally enforceable and compliant loan documents. This role is an essential partner to multiple departments and performs work that affects business operations to a substantial degree. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES * Manage the entire transaction documentation and closing process for Equipment Finance transactions including those with complex documentation or structures as well as third party documentation from syndicated partners. * Decide when all underwriting, pricing and/or equipment management approval conditions for documentation have been satisfied.   * Decide proper course of action if any contradictions are identified in documentation, escalate issues as needed. * Utilize discretion to escalate any potential risk discovered during funding process, including identifying potential fraud. * Interpret and develop commercial loan documents for collateral associated with complex commercial loans. * Resolve complex documentation issues, identify opportunities and work with management to implement operating practice improvements to maximize efficiency. * Consult with customers and dealers and be able to apply discretionary judgment to accommodate inquiries regarding loan documentation satisfaction. * Effectively prioritize a fluctuating workload and meet demanding funding deadlines * Execute titling documentation, research titles, and resolve issues as needed within company timeline. * Interface with customers, sales team, credit department, collections and accounting team, and various DMV agencies to ensure titles are properly processed and complete. * Identify and address commercial loan documentation and/or lien position perfection issues that may create problems with the commercial loan funding. * Control and prioritize work queues for new lease/loan transactions.   The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.  They are not an exhaustive list of all required responsibilities, duties, and skills.  Other duties may be added, or this job description amended at any time. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead and manage team through training, developing, and coaching associates on a consistent basis. * Encourage others to set challenging goals and high standards of performance QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.    Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the lease, loan, or mortgage industries.  Experience with Sales force CRM a plus   Skills/Abilities: Results oriented work ethic and high level of personal initiative.  Extremely detail oriented and conscientious.  Team player with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management.  Adaptable to change.  Proficiency with Microsoft office suite.  Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent communication, both written and verbal.  ---------------------------------------- PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
