This will consist of managing Equipment Service Staff, Team Leaders, and Equipment Service Technicians as they are added to the project. Ensure that the design of the equipment meets the Honda Power Train Equipment Specifications or has proper specification exceptions signed off. Is constructed of quality materials and of quality build. Work with vendor to complete risk assessments at design, runoff, and installation phases. Travel to the equipment manufactures for runoff and complete the equipment acceptance check sheet. Associate will be responsible for managing, developing, and optimizing preventative maintenance and reliability programs on ALL equipment installed. Associate will be responsible for ensuring that spare parts for the equipment are stocked in inventory based on RPN (Risk Priority Number) for equipment. Associate will be responsible for specifications and overseeing installation of utilities to equipment, working with facilities to ensure that we have proper supply of electric, process water, industrial water, and compressed air as needed. After mass production: This position coordinates total maintenance operations consisting of managing Equipment Service Technicians, Equipment Service Staff/Team Leaders. Responsible for managing, developing, and improving preventative maintenance reliability programs and developing annual repair and maintenance budgeting. Key Accountabilities Analyze / evaluate equipment adherence to spec, potential failures, maintainability, and inefficiencies. Develop and implement countermeasures with project team and with machine builders. Ascertain hidden equipment failures and develop path-forward countermeasures with machine builders and project team Equipment Acceptance and Equipment Runoff evaluations. Perform Risk Assessments involving Production, Engineering and Equipment Service Manage equipment service staff, team leaders, and technicians assigned to the project Analyze computerized maintenance management system (CMMS-Maximo) for the following: Core data 100% accurate & complete Spare parts stocked in inventory Repair/Replenish Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)/Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) Perform critical equipment analysis (PPA) PM Strategy and PM optimization for all assets Required Education Applicable two-year degree (Electrical-Mechanical Degree) Required Experience Minimum 2+ year of experience as an ESTL/ESS 5+ years of experience in repair of CNC machining equipment, or Robotics equipment, or other automated manufacturing equipment Decisions Expected Lead EQ DT Recovery and decision-making during line maturation Develop technical Know-how of all team members Budget creation & conrol for repair and maintenance Weekend Job scheduling and review Working Conditions Exposure to chemicals, coolants, fumes, Confined Space Possible Travel – eight times per year/multiple weeks per event and some daily travel to other plants or equipment builders.
