Full Time Equipment Maintenance Mechanic Estimated pay range $21.40 to $23.40, depending on qualifications and experience Reports to: Facility Manager Location: 1 Stew Leonard Drive, Yonkers, NY, 10710 Position Description: Under the direction of the Facility Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing production and store equipment. This role is hands-on and focused on mechanical repair, including mixers, scales, VCMs, slicers, and other food production machinery. The mechanic will diagnose issues, replace worn components, and keep equipment running safely and efficiently. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs require. Qualifications: Vocational/trade school degree and /or 1-3 years of experience Basic knowledge of trades such as equipment repair, electrical, and HVAC Familiar with the operation of power tools and equipment such as scissor lifts Proficiency in computer skills Ability to acquire an OSHA 10 card Forklift experience is a plus Your day-to-day: Complete PM’s and repairs/ projects as assigned by the FM with little supervision Price out all repairs and maintain data logs of equipment repair history General Equipment repairs ( on-call If needed by FM) Drain clearing o Snow Plowing ( on-call) The responsibilities listed above are intended to describe the general nature of this role and are not all-inclusive.
