Job Description Backend Equipment Technician perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in Backend Process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high-volume manufacturing environment. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications. Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment. Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities. Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities. Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations and improvement initiatives. This role requires reliable presence to support operational and team objectives. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance aligned with the company’s work schedule. Qualifications Required Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics Preferred Proficient at troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC software/hardware related issues. Ability to use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis and repair of equipment. Ability to understand PLC system. Ability to use vision system will be an added advantage. Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction High level attention to detail with methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management Provide leadership to other technicians through training and mentorship. Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures. Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, engineering, and managers. Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root cause, and drive factory improvement initiatives.
