At Spectro Alloys, we’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically skilled leader to take charge of our mobile equipment fleet- everything from forklifts to yard trucks to industrial trailers. If you love diagnosing problems, turning a wrench, and leading by example, this is your moment. This is a key role in plant reliability. Your work directly supports production uptime, safety, and operational efficiency. Starting at $28 per hour and up (based on experience) What You’ll Do: You’ll manage the maintenance and repair of all rolling stock- think forklifts, trucks, trailers, yard equipment, and more. You’ll diagnose issues, coordinate repairs, get your hands dirty, and work with a crew to make sure nothing breaks down on your watch. Maintenance for rolling equipment and mobile machinery Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate/perform repairs Maintain service schedules and inspection logs for equipment Ensure safety compliance for all vehicles and mobile gear Source parts and manage repairs (in-house or vendor-coordinated) Collaborate with others to keep production and operations running smoothly Who We’re Looking For: You’re mechanically inclined, proactive, and ready to take ownership. You’ve probably been a mechanic, tech, or lead in a shop or maybe you’re just the person everyone calls when something breaks. Must-Haves: Strong mechanical background (vehicles, trailers, hydraulics, or industrial equipment) 3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience Ability to inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot all kinds of gear Comfortable in an industrial environment (heat, noise, heavy machinery) Solid communication and organizational skills Strong work ethic and ownership of your responsibilities Nice-to-Haves: Welding or fabrication skills Experience working on DOT-regulated vehicles Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems (CMMS) CDL or forklift certification What’s In It for You: Competitive pay starting in the $28-30/hr range (Depending on experience) Consistent schedule you can plan around Great health benefits, 100% employer-paid, dental, vision, life & disability insurance Health Savings Account employer contributions Flex Savings Account 401(k) with company match Paid time off (including your birthday!)
