JOB SUMMARY

The Equipment Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and management of all equipment within the organization. This role ensures that all machinery and tools are operating efficiently and safely, supporting the overall productivity of the team. The Equipment Manager will collaborate with various departments to assess equipment needs and implement strategies for optimal performance. The Equipment Manager also coordinates repairs, manages equipment inventory, and ensures compliance with safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or equipment management.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Forklift certification and experience operating various warehouse equipment.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of lean maintenance or preventive maintenance programs.
