SUMMARY

We are seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team at Hallett’s Hay and Seed. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment to support our agricultural operations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring efficient production processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment, including Tractors, mowers, various haying equipment, swathers, trucks
  • prior experience operating a new holland bale wagon would be a huge benefit
  • valid class 5, minimum, class three would be great
  • ability to lift 60 lb hay bales
  • non smoking
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Mechanical aptitude for performing basic maintenance on equipment.
  • ability to do various other tasks, including maintenance and cleaning, of equipment and buildings
    this is a seasonal job but we are also looking for a long term team member, please see our other posting for Assistant farm manger, an ideal situation would be to transfer into that role long term
