QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as forklift operator
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Must be able to communicate with others to effectively promote efficiency
• Valid drivers license and, depending on the machinery, additional endorsements may be required
• Prior experience with the specific type of machinery used in the construction industry is highly advantageous
• Maintain compliance with company, state, and OSHA safety standards

• Operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, backhoes, etc. in compliance with company and safety standards
• Inspecting and performing basic maintenance on machinery to ensure it is in safe working condition
• Identifying potential operation issues and reporting them to the maintenance team or supervisors
• Adhering to all safety regulations, workplace standards
• Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
• Coordinating with other team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
• Operate equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Driving or controlling heavy equipment to complete tasks at the construction site
• Maneuvering forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
• Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of good onto shelves or pallets
• Other tasks or projects assigned
