Description

Division OmniSource Responsibilities Operate multiple types of material handling equipment i.e. Dump Truck, Wheel Loader, Skid Steer Loader and Forklift, in a safe and productive manner. Load Containers, sort scrap, sample material, any others duties as requested by Lead or supervisor. Inspect Equipment prior to operation, fuel, lubricate daily. Assist Lead and Supervisor with identification and tracking of all inventory upgrades and changes in classification to assist with perpetual inventory goals. Ability to cross train on various equipment types. All other duties as requested by Lead and Supervisor. Qualifications Required Ability to work in all types of weather conditions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations. Team player dedicated to the organization. Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours Preferred Knowledge of scrap is a plus. Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.

Responsibilities

The operator will safely and productively run various material handling equipment, including loading containers, sorting scrap, and sampling materials as directed by supervision. Responsibilities also include daily equipment inspection, fueling, lubrication, and assisting with inventory tracking and classification updates.
