JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments and be proficient in handling different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and more. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

SKILLS

• Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers and flatbed trucks is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of tanker operations is a plus.
• Strong commercial driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Previous delivery driver experience is preferred.
• Ability to load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment such as skid steers.

• Operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks for the transportation of freight.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing forklifts as necessary.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining schedules and timelines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.
• Adhere to all local, city, and provincial driving regulations while on the road.
