Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION * Operates rubber-tired and tracked equipment (Field Tractors, Coffee Harvesters, Tracked loaders, excavators and other Agricultural/construction equipment) that may be equipped with various types of equipment or attachments such as blades, rippers, pruners, harrow, planters, mowers, spreaders, sprayers etc. performing skilled and responsible tasks in agricultural construction, road maintenance work, orchard pruning, and field preparation. * Services, maintains, and performs minor repairs and assist with major repairs to tractor and allied equipment. * Operates equipment used to apply agrochemicals (Broadcast and Airblaster sprayers) * Drive and operate heavy-duty trucks as directed. * Drives and operates water truck as directed. * Drives and operates service truck as directed. * Responsible for proper operation of equipment. * Responsible for daily maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of equipment. * Performs various tasks in repair and adjustment of equipment used * Operates wheel-loader equipment used during the coffee harvest operation. * Responsible for daily maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of assigned equipment. * Assists Supervisor in direction of coffee harvester operators to areas to be harvested. * Provides communication link between mechanics and supervisors with regards to equipment that has mechanical problems.
