Description Concord, NH Chappell Tractor Sales, LLC Chappell Tractor is a family-owned construction equipment dealership serving New England since 1955. We are looking for an experienced, motivated Equipment Rental Manager to lead and grow the rental operation at our Concord, NH location. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for daily rental operations, fleet performance, customer relationships, and profitability. What You’ll Do Manage all daily rental operations, scheduling, dispatch, and equipment flow Oversee rental fleet utilization, condition, maintenance coordination, and replacements Grow rental revenue by building relationships with contractors, municipalities, and commercial customers Develop pricing, rental programs, and local market strategies Work closely with sales and service teams to support customers and maximize fleet uptime Own rental department performance including utilization, margins, and customer satisfaction Hire, train, and lead rental staff and yard personnel Ensure accurate contracts, insurance coverage, inspections, billing, and damage recovery Ability to maintain DOT medical certification to operate GVW’s over 10,000 lbs Ability to secure machines pursuant to USDOT regulations What We’re Looking For 3+ years in equipment rental, construction equipment, or dealership operations Strong understanding of construction equipment (compact through heavy preferred) Proven leadership or management experience Business-minded approach to assets, utilization, and profitability Strong customer skills with contractors and commercial accounts Organized, dependable, and comfortable owning a department Valid driver’s license (CDL or DOT experience a plus) What Success Looks Like Increased rental utilization and revenue Well-maintained, available fleet Strong repeat customer base Organized, efficient rental processes A reliable team that delivers a high-level customer experience What We Offer Competitive salary + performance incentives Health, dental, vision, and retirement plans Paid time off and holidays Training and long-term growth opportunity Family-owned culture with decision-makers on site About Chappell Tractor Chappell Tractor has served New England contractors since 1955, supplying construction equipment, tractors, attachments, and power equipment.
