Description

UPMC Presbyterian is looking to hire a Full-Time Equipment Reprocessor to support the Gastrointestinal Lab. Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts 7 am to 5:30 pm 1-2 late days per week Call requirement once a month Purpose: Cares for, handles and reprocesses all fiber optic endoscopy equipment and accessories used in the GI Laboratory. Responsibilities: Demonstrate accurate cleaning and disinfection procedures for all endoscopes and accessories. Adhere to universal infection control guidelines when cleaning and disinfecting scopes and accessories. Contribute to an efficient work and team environment. Assume responsibility for own development. Maintain unit standards of quality control and safety. Demonstrate proper handling techniques for scopes and accessories. Contribute to maintaining a neat, clean and safe environment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Responsibilities
