EQUIPMENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

County Tractors & Machinery Ltd. is looking to expand their Sales team at their Salisbury, New Brunswick location. Applications are now being accepted for full-time Equipment Sales Representatives. County Tractors & Machinery Ltd. is a family-owned Case IH and New Holland agricultural dealership serving New Brunswick since 1988. The Sales Representatives will be responsible for promoting equipment sales in a designated sales territory.

Expected Duties:

  • Promote new and used agricultural equipment to customers in the designated sales territory
  • Identify sales leads and prospects
  • Make sales calls to prospective customers
  • Differentiate equipment with benefits and features
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations and training to customers
  • Attend and work annual trade shows
  • Arrange transportation and deliveries of sold equipment
  • Appraise used equipment
  • Maintain relationships with current and new customers
  • Promote the sale of parts and service to customers
  • Continuously research the benefits and features of Case IH and New Holland products as well as competitive brands of equipment

Successful candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to think analytically and critically to solve customer problems and work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in agricultural equipment sales will be important to the success of this position. Individuals must be self-driven, reliable, maintain personal integrity, adapt to varying personalities and be able to close sales deals. Candidates should have basic computer skills in Microsoft excel and Outlook. Strong consideration will be given to a bilingual candidate.
The duties of this position will be performed in an office setting, at trade shows, in the company vehicle, and at customer locations. A valid driver’s license is required. The individual will benefit from competitive wages, paid holidays/vacations, and Health/Dental insurance. Company vehicle provided, evening and weekend work may be required.
