Equipment Service Engineer Job ID: 131766 Worker Type: Full time, Location: Chemor (Ipoh) Objective of jobThe Cable Cutting Engineer is responsible for setup, maintenance, and optimization of cable cutting machines and associated tools. This role combines responsibilities from machine operation, equipment servicing, and toolroom maintenance to ensure high machine uptime, product quality, and operational efficiency. Principle activities  Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in cable cutting equipment. Perform regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, and machine adjustments. Conduct equipment installation, calibration, and functional testing. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and test results. Identify, report, and address equipment faults and process inefficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production targets. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Set up and operate cable cutting machines; adjust parameters and tools as needed. Perform quality checks on cut cables per technical drawings and specifications. Maintain crimping tools and seal applicators used in the production process. Assist in the procurement, assembly, and commissioning of production equipment. Optimize spare part usage and manage related inventory. Support relocation and installation of equipment across departments or sites.Perform simple to moderately complex repairs and maintenance on production equipment.If you are interested, please send us your resume to email: DEM_HR@draexlmaier.de
