Description
Overview Next 150 Construction, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company, is seeking an Equipment Specialist I. The Equipment Specialist I is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the equipment & temporary services business for Next 150 Construction. Responsibilities Perform routine duties and transactions in equipment rental & inventory operations, re-rentals, billing (including purchase orders and invoicing), and information distribution to support the Next 150 customers. Perform accurate data entry utilizing software, spreadsheets, and databases for equipment and consumable transactions. Provide timely responses via phone calls and emails from internal and external customers and vendors for routine information related primarily to equipment and consumable transactions. Support the preparation of bid packages as needed. Conduct research on equipment, services, and processes as needed. Maintain records for location, maintenance, repairs, and warranty of equipment. Participate in the continuous improvement plan by identifying opportunities in the current process and documenting potential improvements. Responsible for contract coordination with internal and external parties. Participate in and help support safety activities and trainings. All other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously and within a team, internally and externally Good problem-solving skills Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail Knowledge of procurement and asset management software Knowledge of logistics operations including equipment, warehouse, storage, and safety from start to finish WORKING ENVIRONMENT Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Travel: as needed (
