Position Summary We are recruiting for an Equipment Specialist for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) Contract at Peterson SFB, in Colorado Springs, CO supporting the Ground-Based Radar Digitization (GBRD) program. The Ground-Based Radar Digitization (GBRD) program modernizes the legacy radar systems associated with the five Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWRs) and the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS), which provide continuous surveillance for missile and satellite detection, tracking, and reporting to support Missile Warning, Missile Defense, and Space Domain Awareness missions. This modernization effort replaces outdated analog and hardware-only components with advanced digital, scalable solutions that leverage a government-owned, open-architecture approach. An additional program goal is to address existing cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the legacy systems by improving cybersecurity capabilities, to include threat detection and data protection. This is a full-time position located at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. ***This position is contingent upon contract award******** Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Provide Logistics support to Modernization & Sustainment projects with an emphasis on supporting on-going Technical Refresh projects Manage/Monitor Depot Spares Package (DSP) and Endurance Spares Package (ESP) at the program’s depot facility Monitor all Repair & Return actions for system sustainment Monitor equipment obsolescence, disposition, and supply chain actions Support the NCCM Product Support Managers (PSMs) Accomplish provisioning actions for NCCM Modification Projects, as required Conduct Annual Endurance Spares Package (ESP) spares inventory at the unit Review (and redline, if required) Quarterly Chief Financial Officer Reports Update Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), as required Update MICT Logistics Checklists, as required Review/Update NCCM Logistics Health Assessment (LHA) annually Identify DODAAC updates (for EB, ED, and FQ DODAACs) as required Review and recommend changes to program-unique specifications to include product specifications for both hardware and software, for proper format, content, and compliance with program requirements and standards Provide technical maintenance and support to users; regularly by telephone, email, and meetings Apply Agile development methodologies to both Modification and Sustainment projects, when applicable Perform Logistics reviews of Technical Manuals, to include detailed review of Illustrated Parts List (IPL), Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB), Theory of Operations, Troubleshooting Procedures, Remove & Replacement Procedures, Wiring Diagrams, Schematics, and format Assist in technical manual (TM) validation/verification (VAL/VER) efforts Support execution of Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) Support Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), and Compliance Audits (CAs), to include auditing hardware and software Configuration Items (CIs), disposition and tracking of action items Evaluate and provide feedback on parts lists proposed by contractor for project provisioning Maintain Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) inventory lists, to include physical inventories Support Program Management Reviews (PMR) through analysis and presentation of system metrics, include Obsolescence issues, Supply Chain impacts, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) and MTBCF (Mean Time Between Critical Failures) program-impacting issues Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Qualifications: Clearance: Must have an Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Education: AAS Degree Years of experience: 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, to include eight years of DoD experience OR, Bachelor’s Degree in related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience; OR, Master’s in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience Preferred Qualifications: Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Education: BS Degree in Logistics or STEM related field Years of experience: 10 years of experience as an Equipment Specialist Certifications: NA Preferred Skills Experience as an Equipment Specialist supporting systems - highly preferred Agile acquisition experience - preferred Experience using JIRA/Confluence software tool - highly preferred Military leadership and management experience - preferred Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally Additional Information Location: Peterson Space Force Base Colorado Springs, CO Travel: Travel may be required to CONUS locations (approx. 10%) Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Onsite at Peterson SFB 4 days per week with one day remote #LI-JK1 Company Overview Odyssey Systems is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
