Description Aaction Rents is looking for an experienced Equipment Technician who can hit the ground running and work independently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety—supporting multiple store locations, troubleshooting in the field, and taking ownership of repairs from start to finish. What You’ll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment both in-shop and at customer job sites Travel between store locations and job sites in a safe, timely, and professional manner Work independently while supporting overall shop and store operations as needed Communicate clearly with Service Coordinators, store teams, and customers on job status and timelines Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate repair logs Operate and test equipment to ensure safe and proper functionality Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols Stay current with ongoing training and development (minimum 20 hours annually) Requirements What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently Clean California Driver’s License Self-motivated, dependable, and able to shift priorities quickly Solid communication and customer service skills Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 80 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions Frequent standing, lifting, climbing, and working on uneven terrain
Responsibilities
