An Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment, including warehouse equipment, manufacturing equipment, plant equipment. Duties/Responsibilities: · Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed. · Troubleshoot and repair all manufacturing plant equipment. · Repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment in plant. · Follow all maintenance procedures to ensure proper preventative and corrective maintenance practices. · Ensure compliance with all internal and external plant policies and procedures. · Ensure safety of all personnel in the Maintenance group meets company standards of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations and those within Company Policy · Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies. · Conduct other duties as required. Qualifications and Experience: · High School Diploma or equivalent · Must have Manufacturing experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. · Must have experience repairing manufacturing equipment and plant equipment. · Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI, machine control and industrial robotics · Ability to interpret machine schematic, electrical and mechanical drawings. · Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems · Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively. · Ability to work 12 hour shifts, day shift or night shift Canadian Solar Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). Responsibilities
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairing all manufacturing plant equipment, both electrical and mechanical.
